Tags

Create Tags I

  1. Select “Show Tags” in the View menu or Press “Command + 1”.

  1. Click the bottom left-hand side of the screen or”Control-click” in the Tags window.
  2. Select “New Tag”.
  3. Type a name for the tag

Create Tags II

  1. Select “Show Tags” in the View menu or Press “Command + 1”.

  1. Type a name for the tag and then Press “Return”

  2. Pressing the “Return” key searches for existing tags, and if there are none then the following message about adding tags is displayed, as shown in the picture below. When this message appears, press “Command + Return” to add new tags.

  3. If there are similar tags, select them as shown in the picture below. Duplicate tags can be identified here, and pressing “Command + Return” adds what has been typed, as a tag.  If there are identical tags then select the already existing tag.

Edit Tags

  1. Select a tag in the Tags window.
  2. Press the “Return” key or “Control-click” the item in the sidebar, then select “Edit”

  3. Type a name for the tag

Remove Tags

  1. Select a tag in the Tags window
  2. Press “Command-Delete” or “Control-click” the item in the sidebar, then select “Delete”

Viewing a tagged image

Pixave provides the following ways to view an image with tags.

  1. In the Pixavewindow sidebar select “Tags”.

  2. Selecting Tags displays the Tags window, as shown in the following picture.

  3. When the desired tags have been selected in the Tags window, images with the relevant tags are displayed, as shown in the picture below.

  4. Also, images containing the relevant tags can be viewed by selecting Tags in the Tags window and right mouse-clicking then selecting “Show Images”, as shown in the picture below.
